Olivia Byrne is an instructor with over 20 years experience in first aid. As a member of the voluntary emergency services at sea Olivia gained invaluable real life experience in first aid techniques with a particular interest in cold water shock and hypothermia.

Olivia is a qualified Registered General Nurse, Midwife and Nurse Prescriber, an Emergency Medical Technican,PHECC instructor in Community First Response and First aid Response (previously occupational first aid).Through additional studies in NUI Galway and the Royal College of Physicians Ireland Olivia also holds a Hdip in Patient simulation and safety and a diploma in quality from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland.
